Has any one ever heard of or used Restoration Shop branded paint? Just curious as I have finally chosen the color for my bike, I'm going against the advise of a past post to leave it white & going w/ a Viper pearl blue. I found a decent deal on the paint & accessories on Ebay

Just wanted to know if there where any horror stories out there before pulling the trigger. The plan is viper blue, a big silver wing decal & powder coat the rims Argent Silver Metallic

The only problem I see is the price is WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY to cheap...and that would concern me in a big way.
also - You need no where near that much material...

The clear I use in my shop cost more per gallon than that entire setup.

    tread carefully...

have you checked the price of paint at your local auto supply shop?
They usually have premium and less expensive lines and will sell you the amount of material you need.

I think it will look great in those colors....besides, it's your bike. If you want to spray it purple with yellow polka dots, screw whomever doesn't like it! :bounce:

I painted a customer's bike using one of those kits last year. I was pretty skeptical about it at first, because I normally prefer PPG stuff, but in the end it laid down fine with no adhesion problems. I did notice an extremely slight, but noticeable (at least to me), color change between the plastic and metal parts, but it was still better that Dupont Chroma paints are in that department. All in all, a pretty good product.
