been seeing a little oil on the out side of my chair guard and stator wires, though it was due to the valve cover gasket, which WAS seeping oil at speed. Pulled the stator cover and got about 1/3 of a cup or maybe 50mm of oil out of it. How hard is it to change the main seal on the left side? I have a flywheel holder for bikes/ATV's and don't expect to have a problem pulling the flywheel and stator. I also have the seal size and a line one a single lip seal with wiper and/or the factory single lip seal. My concern is being able to get the old seal out once I get to it. Anyone who has done this o a first gen that can comment. Later
