Replacement seat cover help needed

    My top box braket broke and ripped a nice hole in my seats vinal. I have tried to source the correct vinal in South Africa with no luck. Can anybody help me abroad with were to source it? (would be great to find a UK member as I have non biker friends in the UK that come over to South Africa often)

    well we would need to know the year of your VFR......I know its a rip repair...but if its big enough it could warrant replacement instead of a repair.

    I would just take the seat and have it recovered at a local auto upholstery shop. You can also chance the foam to softer and more sculpted foam.

    I agree with safetypro10. I looked around until I found a guy locally that does upholstery work, and now any time I have anything I need, I take it his way. He has fixed my seats, my leather jacket, and my leather pants, and half the time he doesn't even charge me on small repairs like zippers on the jacket or pants.

    Last time I did VF 500 seat cover, I bought on ebay and had him put it on. He filled in missing foam and made it look very nice. Much better than I could have done.
