I tried to contact Damm Exhaust but they never replied so I went with plan B. Two Brothers M2 carbon exhaust. After 400 miles I'm very satisfied with it, well built, very easy to install, sounds real good especially when rolling off the throttle but the best of all my right boot stays cool now if I angle my heel in.

I really like the looks of the OEM exhaust but wanted to hear some road tunes. I like the way more of the rear wheel can be seen too. Great instructions very easy swap out, half a beer job, couldn't believe how simple the whole thing was to do.

Looks good! I love the look of the high-mount exhaust (show's off that beautiful rear wheel), but I have the factory bags, so I'm stuck with the low-mount.

So how many miles do you have on her now? ...what are your likes / dislikes so far?

I got my VFR used towards the end of Feb, 2011; I’ve put 3k of the 3600 miles on her. I like the bike a lot; the way it handles, the ergonomics are just about perfect, thinking of dropping the foot pegs but I’m not sure if I want to just yet. I thought about getting the factory side cases but just don’t think I would use them enough to justify the cost. If there where anything I would change in the design, would maybe be another gallon of gas due to the wide difference in mileage depending on how many RPMs you are running. The linked brakes are a little tricky on rocky or sandy roads so maybe a switch to engage the brake linking or disengage with the switch.

We have almost identical mileage on our bike. And that's an interesting take on the linked brakes as I've ridden in some pretty dirty stuff and it never bothered me:

    ...but that's why I asked. :)

The tank, I'm in TOTAL agreement with. I'm lucky to get 130 miles out of a full tank if I'm playing in the canyons. ...it still baffles me how Honda though losing a gallon of gas was a good idea on this bike!

My other small gripe would be the vibration in the throttle side bar; it's really bad and makes my hand go numb after only 20 minutes or so of freeway riding; I'm desperately working to find a solution to that problem!!!

I was going down a slight incline durring a tight 180 with 1/2" rocks front wheel berried more than anything, I didn't realize how loose and deep the rocks where more than anything. I notice when my riding posture is bad, resting on the arms, or gripping too hard but after ridding the ultimate shaker a 95 FLSTN EVO I've not noticed much vibration.

Thanks 02. ...I saw that thread, and have emailed them regarding how to make it work with a Throttlemeister, but they haven't responded (it's only been a week). ...I'm going to try giving them a call as they might not be the "email type". ...I really don't want to give up the Throttelmeister, but the vibes are pretty bad; much worse than my 4th or 5th gen VFRs ever were.
