Any members around the Reno area looking to go for a ride? I knows it's cold but that is what heated grips are for!!!

If I could just figure out how to get all my snowboard gear on to my bike I would be fine!!!!! Oops forgot about the ice, snow(what snow?) and grit on the mountian roads.

hey scotinexcile - I'm in Northern Ca, about an hour west of South Lake Tahoe. I don't get to Reno much, but when the snow melts I ride around Lake Tahoe all the time. This time of year I'm mainly riding in the foothills of the western slope of the Sierras (around Auburn, Jackson, etc). We'll have to arrange a ride since you're so close.

Icehouse Road is always a fun place to ride as long as the rangers stay away. looks like it will be an early riding season this year unless we get some REAL snow soon. last snow was Dec 26th

I used to ride a WRF 400, sold it to get my wife a bike, now I just have to get her to actually ride it!!!!

Oh yeah, Icehouse is good. Watch out for those old people in RVs too!

I'm actually thinking about selling my WR and getting a KLR 650, tough decision though. I bought the wife a little TTR-225 to ride a while back, same boat as you - it just sits and collects dust.
