Removing Restrictors On Staintune

    02 VFR with staintune's.
    Does removing the restrictors increase power or decrease power due to loss of back pressure'?

    I think as long as you get it mapped correctly it would deffinetly make more power. mabey 1 or 2 hp...

    I heard the going rate was about 2hp. Even if it was a reduction, the sound is well worth it.

    Power increase will be marginal due to your Cats back pressure (1>2hp?) but as powderrecon mentioned the extra sound is well worth it. Also be aware Staintunes take about 6 months to burn in and sound their best and if you really want your VFR to breath get some Motad catless Headers with PC3 and O2 eliminators although you might need to book Dyno time to map the PC3 properly...
