Wanting to know how difficult it is to remove the cluster. Can I just remove the screen and get it that way or to I need to remove the whole front fairing?. Also is it just one big plug or are there several to get to ?. Thanks in advance mang

Your gonna pull the upper off, and then you can get at the cluster with ease.Don't really remember the wiring so it must be unremarkable. If you put your mind to it it is only aboot a two beer job.

Out working on my 6th gen, replacing bad LED H4 lamp, you do not have to take off nose fairing, just the windshield, instrument cover, including left and right small fairing pieces. You can probably just loosen up side fairings, but almost as easy to take them off too. Two Phillips screws on back of cluster holds in on frame. Multipin connector and two wires under two smaller Phillips, that's it.

If you do decide to take off nose fairing, put a towel or cardboard on top of fender to protect it. Fairing can easily scratch fender. Another tip, if you plan to take on and off once in a while, extend temperature sensing wires, a real pain to hold fairing and try to undo connector.

I looked at their pictures, and they look cool, I think I would go with blue on left & right and leave tach white.
