I picked up my very first VFR today an '01 with 28,000k... Only one small problem... I didn't want to get off her!

Whadda feeling, whadda day... She is so S.W.E.E.T. The noise, the handling, the riding position.... She does everything so well!

Anyone feel like sharing their first experience riding a VFR!? Hope i bought back some great memories for those who've already been there...

And for anyone contemplating buying one - Just DO IT!

Cant wait for tomorrow... (it's like Christmas time as a kid!)

    Stoked!

You obviously are not scared of your wife the way I am when I come home late from a ride. She acts like staying at home with a fussy 6 month old baby isn't fun or something

    Congrats on your VFR!

My 1st ride on a VFR was a 10-15 min. test ride on a low miles '06 at a local shop. Short ride and I was being very careful with it, but it was still very cool. Very different from my 1st bike, an '01 Kawi ZR-7S.

My 1st ride on my VFR was a couple weeks later when I picked it up at the original owner's house in August, '06. (Bike was in bone stock, mint condition w/4225 mi. on it. Basically like new.) Most of the ride back was superslab on the Ohio Turnpike, but it was still amazing.

My VFR's odometer hit 40k Sat. morning. And it's still amazing just every time I ride it.

My GF would hate when I go to the store to pick up something "quick" about two hours later I would walk in..... then explain that the all the stores were out of eggs and butter and I had to drive to Ventura to get said Items......

I agreed not to take the bike to the store anymore.......as long as I'm not getting food to cook for breakfast that is...:biggrin:
