Reflector for Side cases

I have managed to clip just the reflector on my 2006 white VFR interceptor the casing for the reflector is still intace but the (red) reflector shattered. I had my local honda shop look for a replacement and the did not have any luck. Anyone have an Idea? Let me know

I'm not sure what kind of reflector was on it, but I know they make all sorts of colored reflective tape. Even black.

 

Yep, I use black reflective tape on my side cases and it works pretty well. Not as bright as silver but it works fine.

 

A quick search on Ebay.com for "reflective sticker tape" shows get a strip of red reflector tape - 2 inch x 18 inches for less than 2 dollars. This would probably be the cheapest and quickest fix. It should be more than enough to change the reflector strip on both paniers if you want to keep things looking symetrical.

 

Actually I thought someone might know a source for the reflector. these are the stock bags from honda but I believe Givi actually builds them from Honda.
