I was headed south on Lakeville Highway Friday morning, at about 7:30, and had a red VFR ride past and head west on Highway 37. Was that one of our group members? I was on the '07 RWB with soft luggage. Just curious...

Lgn, you and I need to hook up, buddy. I come up that way all the time.

We could do a ride up to Geyserville or something from Calistoga...

Hey, Puma. Which part of the East Bay do you call home? I'm in a place called Cazadero, not too far from Jenner on the coast, or where the Russian River hits the Pacific.

I live in Castro Valley, but I ride pretty much everywhere in the North Bay....we could meet up with NCB, too, once he finishes wrenching on his bike...

Yeah, Silver, I just noticed you live in the East Bay, too. RGonVFR lives in Castro Valley, too. He sent me an email a while back about meeting up for rides.

We need to arrange a group ride down to Hollister and meet up with Reg71, SLO, and some of the other guys from Central Coast.

This is sounding like a good idea. It has been a long time since I rode with a group (more than 3 bikes). How many bikes does there have to be before we can control ourselves, I wonder?

Agreed...it would be cool to start organizing some rides with a whole passel of VFRs. BTW, I was up on the coast today to photograph the Tour of CA; we were on 116 for a bit; is that near where you live?

If you take 116 in from the coast, you got hrough the little spot in the road called Duncans Mills. Cazadero Highway is shortly after that. So I'm guessing you were about 5-10 miles from me, depending.
