I have not searched this site so forgive me if this is redundant but I am thinking of adding a fan to the rectifier and have some questions.

First how many have glued the fan to the rectified and if so do you have the fan blow on it or pull air off the rectifier?

Second, what did you wire the fan to for power?

And third will this really help?

    Looking for any input. Thanks!

I think if you got the larger updated rectifier and all your wiring and connections are good and you have a good battery - you dont need a fan on it. If I was to wire one though, I would wire it to pull heat off the unit as that is the way the air flow will want to flow under power anyways.

My R/R fan "pulls" air off the unit. I used a Pentium 3 fan.

I wired it to the rear plate light circuit I was no longer using after chopping my fender.

    Try a search.
