Recent Addition to the Family

    I am new to this forum and new to the VF500 bike. I just picked it up last night and I am looking forward to getting her running and out on the road. Guy I bought it from said it needs a new head gasket - based on antifreeze in the oil. Seems logical :rolleyes:

    I have owned a CBR600 as well as a Suzuki Valusia 800. I look forward to learning from you all on this forum.

    Seems like the VF500 suffers from cooling probems, based solely on all of the "overheating" and "head gasket" threads I have read on this forum lately.

    Does the 750 suffer from this same sort of malady?
