Rebuilding my 83 Magna 750 VF750C

Wow - It looks like I found a nice forum from browsing some threads. Mine has been collecting dust in the garage for 8 years, Carbs are being rebuilt this week, So I hope to get running soon. I have found the clutch master to be dry of Dot3/4, But haven't opened the slave yet. Already have found threads on clutch issues and replacement gaskets - Thx.
I'm skeptical of other fuel line issues. Any tips on cleaning secondary tank, petcock, fuel lines after sitting this long??
