Rear shock

    Hi

    I have just learnt that my vfr FM rear shock is had it, have now separated it from spring, has anyone got any ideas on using simular shock from a cheaper source, as I have been quotes around 350 for a brand new one, and that is a bit over my budget at the moment,

    Steve it might help if you gave more info on your bike...I.e. 1998 VFR800

    I believe he indicates it's an "M" year, which if memory serves would make it a 1991 VFR750F.

    Sorry, there is no other shock that will work. I'd suggest looking for someone local who can rebuild what you have. You should be able to have that done for around $100US.
