hi guys was wondering if anybody was having an issue with their rear shock adjustment knob. i read some where that there was some issues but i cant remember where .if anybody has had the issue,im curious to know what honda did or didnt do thanks oh by the way does anybody notice that real irratating buzz or vibration in and around 4 thousand to 5 thousand rpm really becoming an issue for me very uncomfortable especially on long rides thanks mike forgot to add the knob dosnt move no adjustment at all
Yeah, the knob does tend to get "stiff" to turn when it isn't used very often. I've just gotten in the habit of turning the thing up and down a couple of turns now and then. Seems to keep it loosened up.
Yeah I had a stuck knob - no pun intended - and they replaced my whole rear shock at the last service under warranty. This was about 4 months ago and now it's starting to stick again. Truth be told, I only changed the preload for a few weeks because I had a commuter passenger but nonetheless, Honda doesn't seem to have the issue resolved. I had a Technoflex shock lying about for 3 years and used for the 6 years before and the preload adjuster still turned like new.
