Rear Seat Latch Missing...

So I recently purchased a 2000 VFR in the screaming yellow with 22,000miles on it and have been going through and making sure everything is up to par. I will be replacing the R/R as it still has the factory one installed. One thing that I did notice was that the seat was has to take off using the helmet lock latch, but once I go it off, I noticed that the latch that the cable connects to is missing. I did an internet search to see if I could find one, but to no avail. I was wondering if anyone would know where I could procure one or if someone has an extra off of a parts bike that they would be willing to sell. I know this is worthless without pictures, so here ya go...
