Vman. I finally got a hold of VFR Chuck and he does make a cowl for my 99'. thanks for the info. Now I just have to get some money. Oh and here is an offer to anyone interested in helping my cause. Apparently, the asswipes in NY government have seen fit to outlaw Honda polish so is anyone lives in a state that will allow the sale of it and is interested in trafficing it to me please let me know. It is the best stuff out there in my opinion and now that I have used it I'm hooked but cannot get it here. Not even mail order.

Thats great news burner. Can you buy the polish on line? Or will the online retailers not sell it to NY residents?

I'm not sure really. I was at the Races in Ohio and was washing my bike when some guy gave me a can and said "try this you'll love it" He was right. My bike never looked so good. It was an aerosol can with a white label. Got to have it. I can't even get it shipped to me in NY. VOC's I guess. Leave it to NY to outlaw a polish. I never really read the label or I was drunk or something can't remember.

Dont use that honda brite stuff - it's mostly a degreaser solvant. If you miss wiping a spot - it will eat it. Not good. On the other hand the Honda spray cleaner and polish is exellent! I think that what freewheelburner wants.

Ebay can be a great place to get deals but I don't get some E-Bayers, they get in bidding wars with 5 days to go. Have you ever seen an auction were some people pay more than they would off the net or even at the store  I'm one of those last second bidders...

Hey burner, if you need that spray cleaner, I can ship it to you..

    Ebay

since we have changed this thread I thought I'd share this with you guys. I just bought a PCII for $50 from ebay. I couldn't believe it. I was the first and only bidder. I was very pleased as I have lost every other auction for the last few months trying to get cheap riding gear.

RW, Sorry it took so long to get back with you guys. I would really appreciate some of the Polish. Is this your business in the link you sent or just a picture of the product?

Vman, I saw that on Ebay but was too busy to join in the bidding. Things seem to be getting busy as of late. Not as much time to screw around with my bike....dam!!

yeah I got the software, but I didn't have a computer old enough to have a 9 pin serial cable so I'm working on borrowing one from another VFR rider who has a PCII. It was $30 at radio shack. That's too much for one time use...
