I have an 06 with 6600 miles. I need new rear pads. I was looking at EBC pads. Will thease work fine with stock front pads. I ride hard and dont want to have the back lock up wile hard on the front break lever. thanks in advance.

they should work just fine. that seems pretty quick to need new pads. I was thinking they should last 3 times that long or so... I switched my rear pads to EBC and checked the front but they were ok so I still have whatever the last owner put on. I had at least 20000 miles on the rear pads before I changed them and they could have gone longer...

Yep, what Reg said. The EBC's should work just fine. But I agree you should have gotten more miles out of the rear brake pads.

I dont know what went wrong. I changed the rear tire at 5500 and got a good look at the pads and knew I needed them soon because there was barely any meat left. Just got her inspected at 6600 and the stealership passed my bike only because they know me well there. they got me the pads for 35 out the door. I do ride very hard at times. and always use the rear and front together. thanks for the info I will be putting them on with my friend this weekend. he is doing steele lines and pads all around on his busa.
