Re installing the plastic fairing fastners

    What's the trick to getting these things flush again once I've pushed them back into the hole? I've pushed as hard as I thought I could given the clearance of the area to no avail:mad:

    Someone please chime in with your experience and wisdom.

    The trick is to spread the two pawls and push them back towards the head. This pushes the center piece out. Then put it in the fastener back in the hole and, when it is in, push the center of the head flush with the rest of the head.
