    Hi
    Can it be done?
I know the heads are taller to accomodate the bucket and shims, but it ses to be the same bottom end.

dot_branning_large_1 (2).jpg In theory, with enuf money and skilz, it could be done. Post up photoz of your build if you can pull it off.

Why not just purchase a newer gen that has the engine you fancy ??

If you think your gen2 is not fast enuf or reliable enuf, you might be a nutter, please.

Why exactly do you need more VFR engine, that good a rider ?? My '86 700 can run faster than i can see or think, which could be seriously dangerous if i let it.

Not only that, but Dot ( EE) would not approve.

There are two reasons why I asked
1 Here in good old Blighty the rc24 engine is now quite rare.
2 There are plenty of rc36 engines at the right price.
If it can't be done without major modification to the frame I am not even going to try.
