    Definitely worthwhile. Strange that the web page has pictures of the guard on and off the bike, but then also two random pictures of a 6th gen.

    If you're just worried about rock damage, you can go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the same expanded metal for around 10 bucks. Cut to size and paint black. If you really want to have the paint be durable, grab a can of VHT flameproof header paint then bake it in an oven. Line two opposing edges with some split fuel line to space it away from the rad.

    What he said. I met a guy that made one for his cb500 I think. Basically that exact thing, but he used some type of boxed metal as a trim around the edges of expanded metal. It looked good, good enough to produce and sell. Didn't cost him much at all.

    you could do that too. he probably used some really thin aluminium c-channel.

    The rad gard arrived, and is fitted. Well made, easy to fit, looks good and does a good job keeping the stones off the radiator. Money well spent. No pics sorry, been having trouble loading pics here.
