I just found out from Danielle Teal that Dane Westby died. Another person said he died in a street bike accident. Damn it I hope this isn't true. What a loss!
I don't see anything on the web this morning so I hope it was just some bad information. Fingers crossed....hell of a rider!

The investigation is still underway. There are reports that a car pulled out in front of him and he swerved to avoid it, then hit the pole. Sad night indeed.
Well done, RIP Dane. Makes us all critically aware that no matter how good a rider you are, some jerk in a car, some deer in rut, some piece of debris, gravel or oil leak can throw us off.
He will be missed. I know several people that were very close to him and one couple in particular. We just lost her last week to cancer, she had been battling it for a while with great spirits and high head. Been a rough couple of weeks.
