I while back I mentioned that I was think about installing a quick shifter. Well I finally did it and I like it. But.....

I have noticed that my clutch no longer grabs early, my lever is almost all the way out before it grabs.

The instructions made no mention of this or how to adjust the clutch.

Has anyone else experienced this; what did you do to fix it?

    Thanks

Fitted mine myself with no issues, not really sure how it would impact on the clutch biting point.

No issue on mine, unit replaces linkage between pedal and gearbox, can't see how it would affect clutch. Did you remove slave?

Should make no difference to the clutch action as all it does is cut power momentarily whilst on the power to allow the gears to mesh.

Only thing affecting the clutch travel is the adjustment dial at the lever (as far as I know...)..being that the clutch system is hydraulic....

Since getting a new Valkyrie, 2 weeks old, its most likely just me but the grabbing points on each are significantly different. Most likely new vs old (20k mileage)
