Motorcycle season in iceland is save from begining of may to the end of october. But last years it has been lot longer, almost the all year. Global warmin has its good points.
Hey sussi. I was reading up on Iceland recently on the web. I'd like to visit sometime. I got hooked on some Sigur Ros and it piqued my curiosity. I understand that the summer weather is actually pretty mild, 60s through 70s in degrees F. Sounds like perfect motorcycle weather to me! You should have some luck with soft bags for your '89, but hard bags might be tough to find.
Welcome Sussi. I know of someone who just got back from two weeks of backpacking Iceland. I never knew just how pretty your country is. Very diverse.
