Just wanted to confirm something before I purchase the triple clamp to redesign it. For the 98-01 VFR800 I've noticed that some bikes have the black ring that surrounds the ignition and some don't. I'm looking to design an ignition cover for that area but need to confirm this first. I've looked at many pictures and it looks like the 98-99 VFR800 have a triple clamp that does not have that black ignition ring and the 00-01 VFR800 has it. It this correct?
