Quadzilla getting restless. I have a polished cover for the rear cylinder head also it is just not on yet. BTW I need a plastic cover for the fuse panel. Does anyone have one?
your project is coming along nicely but i would have loved to see you make a sport bike chasis for it, keep up the great work!
A sportbike frame would be fun too. I would make a double loop cradle frame with 30º rake. 4.5 inches trail. Easy to work on and the weight down low. But to make it a winning bike I would remove the oil pan and pump and use an external pump and dry sump tank. That would get the engine 4 inches lower in the frame. I would just use the oil pan to make a pattern and bolt a 1/4 inch aluminum plate onto the bottom of the engine. I do not know why HONDA could not figure that out. The frame would be like the most winning frame ever built... The HD XR750.
i've really enjoyed watching your project take off mybe one day you could build us a modern 1000R and share it with like you have with this amazing bike your building today
