Obviously, I know where two of the mounting points are (exhaust and at the passanger footpeg), but I have no idea what the 3rd point (high by the reflector @ the fender) is supposed to attach to. I assume that Staintune shipped with a bracket. Does anyone have a scan of the directions and or pictures that could help me fabricate a decent replacement?

I'd like to get this mounted quickly, and I really want to modify/fab up some brackest to use Givi V35 saddlebags.

edit: I have found a post at http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~john/vfr/aftermarket/exhaust.html that says there is a "stepped" bracket. I thing that goes from one of the grab rail mouting points down to carry the rear (high muffler) mounting point. Let me know if that sounds correct, or not.

Don't they come with the band to attached to the back of passenger peg?
Hope someone will chimp in with pictures. I am sure you can fab them up with some measurements.

Nope. No band. Staintune are top notch. here are two of the pictures for the eBay auction. The first one shows the mounting point at the foot peg Footpeg Mount.jpg The second one is the high mount point that falls (on my bike) just under the side reflector at the fender top mount.jpg

Yes, it attaches to the rear right side grab handle bolt, under the handle.
