Can anyone tell me if ProGrips are the same length as stock 6th gen grips?

They should fit fine. I just installed those on my 86 without issue. Grips are pretty much universal unless you have something weird like a hardley. As for diameter, one grip in the pair will have a wider bore for the throttle. If you need to make up a few mm gap between bar ends or something, just loosen and adjust the position of thr start button, and horn switch assemblies.

You got me curious and I walked out to the garage and stuck a scale on my 5th gen grips.
---- Yup 120mm. Should be the same as 6th gen. (The grips fit.)

If you've got a local cycle gear just ride over and take a look. That's where I found the progrips on mine. They'll probably let you take the package outside to size them up.

I just realized that I have the pro grips on my '09 which is what I am replacing and I also had one of the stock grips in my "take off" bin. So without further ado...

Bottom grip is the stock grip and top is the (soon to be replaced) Pro-grip.

Pretty happy with the 719's. Pretty decent for 15 bucks. Beats the grody blue Scott grips that someone installed. For removal i took a fresh razor blade and carefully sliced the old grips down one side and just peeled them off. Soapy water to install the progrips.
