I got lucky and found a pair of fairings for my 99. My left side is rashed from the asshat kid that owned it before me. The pair I bought has the right side rashed, but not the left. So I am wanting to recoup some money by selling the rashed pair. There is no crack or broken tabs, just rash. How much are they worth?

Or do you think I should practice my sanding and keep them in reserve?

Depending on the amount of rash on them, you might be able to ask a bit less than what you paid for them. I have seen used side cowls that have minor rash on them going for 75 each. Maybe find out what a body shop would charge to repair them and consider keeping the repaired ones and selling the good ones. Just a thought

I would just keep the plastics if you have space. These will be hard to come by in the future(if you plan on keeping the bike for some time)

Wow, only $75? Man, I am thinking I overpaid then. Damn, I thought I was kicking ass too.
