Power Commander V with stock quick shifter?

Hello all,

I looked and cannot find anywhere if OEM quick shifters will work with a PC V. I am thinking about getting one (PC V) but I am not sure I want to have to get another quick shifter.... Does anyone know that is willing to share this info?

I have the quick shifter on my 8th gen dlx, as far as I know it consists of a micro switch that interfaces with the ECM that momentarily kills the engine to take the power off the gears when you up shift. Once in awhile I hit the shifter by accident and kills the engine until I realize my error. I had a PC on my 6th gen and I know changes the fuel inj mapping, won’t interfere with QS.

 

I’ve got the Honda quickshifter and a Rapid Bike fuelling module on mine, no problems

 

No problems here either. Got the PCV installed and the QS works just fine! Thank you all for the info.
