... I have been searching and all I have been able to find are individuals looking to make their bike have better performance. I don't mind less torque or less horsepower I just want better fuel economy. 2008 VFR800/A

Does anyone run such a map or could point me to one?

I just bought the unit new...on the cheap. I haven't even taken delivery of it.

I guess it could be done but to be honest even on cars/trucks the MPG tunes don't do much if anything - but there may be a preinstalled tune for it on the unit.

Less hp/tq doesn't necessarily mean you'll gain mpg, it could actually hurt because you're going to turn the throttle just that much more to get things moving.

When I had mine dyno'd I asked for economy below VTEC and performance above. PC3, '03 VTEC.

The VFR has great fuel economy, believe me. Ive just bought a RSV 1000 mille and that thing drinks the juice like you would not believe. Perhaps altering the gearing would get you where you want to be ?

Yep, gearing is the way to go if you dont mind losing some Oomph. PCv is absolutely great but you have to figure out how to get what your looking for. Took me a year to find the right combo of gear and fuel for low end torque.
