    Howdy,

    You can only link to files that are available online. Typically that means they are on a server. If you have your home computer setup as a server and it is online all the time, then yes you could link to your hard drive. But if you are just running on DSL, Cable or a modem, and are not set up as an HTML server or a file server, you are out of luck.
