    Hello everyone,

I'm going to a local dealership here in Arkansas to look at/test ride a new 2007 VFR. Any input would be appreciated.

I've ridden all my life, but have been on a cruiser for the last 5 years. Now I'm bored and want to get back to something a little more fun in terms of speed, cornering, etc.

    Regards,
    H.C.D.

They've quoted me a price of $7889. I will probably buy the Givi hard bags in the future, but for now will go with ballistic nylon saddlebags. I already have a travel bag I use on my cruiser for my longer trips that I can easily use on the VFR.

I do lots of local rides here, and I also love to go on weekend rides and week-long tours when I can get away. Went to Canada and back last summer. From what I've learned about the VFR, its a great all-round bike. I just need to make sure its comfortable enough for me.

Yes it is a good all around bike. I have done a few trips over 1000 miles on a stock bike without complaints. Many folks like an aftermarket seat( Sargent or Corbin) for the longer rides. Several people have added bar risers(GenMar or Helibars) too.
    Good luck and good riding.

Good Luck on your test ride H.C.D. Once you slip that clutch and hear that V4 running beneath you, you'll know. You asked for input so I'm warning you now H.C.D.,VFR's can be addictive. Trust me,I've owned four. Post-up with your riding impressions when you're done. Good Luck.
