I have a 1984 vf700f that is pretty bad shape. My dear wife bought it for me as a wedding present a year ago. We paid $300, and got what we paid for hahaha. But I love my bike and really enjoy working on it. Thus far I have rebuilt the front cylinder heads to fix a leaky valve, and am now on my way back together. I have the carburetors all cleaned and ready to put on, but i would like to see if anyone has any suggestions for maintenance to do while i have them out. I don't what to take them back out any time soon. Any suggestions?

If you need a bit of extra assurance, test the float needles for proper sealing and float bowls for leaks by hooking up the fuel line to the tank while carbs are resting next to the bike.
