Poll - 1998 VFR850 - missed opportunity or irrelevant speculation ?

Speculation is always amusing before the release of any all new model motorcycle.

Remember before the VFR1200 came out in 2009 from about 2004 there was all sorts of wild magazine based speculation as to what the next VFR would look like, ie everything from full on Supersports V5 VFR1000 to a more Touring orientated ST1300 replacement. Indirectly from the "Honda VF History" link posted by " tinkerinWstuff " found a speculative photo of a VFR850 I hadn't seen before of the expected Gen4 replacement. :biggrin:

From the looks not only did they think it'd have 850cc looks like they also thought it'd have NR lights, a high rise exhaust standard and cbr919rr Forks and brakes no bad things in my mind.

This being an slow part of the year what do you think ?
