    Hello all,

    New to the site, but not Honda V4's. Have had my '84 VF1100S (V65 Sabre) since '89, and my all-time favorite '86 VF1000R since '98.

    Glad to find such an active community here. I live in NY's mid-Hudson valley; approximately 75 miles north of NYC.

    Hope to post some pics soon. Looking forward to meeting you all and hooking up with some local riders.

    I can't tell you how bad I wanted a VF 1000R when I was young, those paint jobs really blew me away. Still one of the all time best looking bikes of all time...

    Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I've really been enjoying this site - very active, and everyone's eager to help each other out. No "attitudes"...

    The 1000R's been at the dealer for a bit now, getting some well-earned attention. They're going over it front-to-back & top-to-bottom. Hope to have it back on the road by next weekend. Autumn's my favorite season, and makes for the best riding IMHO.
