please help removing front axle

    i am to the part where it says insert a drift into the front axle and remove it, What is a drift????i dont have anything in my tool kit that would seem to go inside the axle like a drift whatever it is, please help

    oh and i am trying to remove the front wheel so i am on the last step i'm stuck please help i tried putting a allen wrench in the 2 holes in the end of the axle and twist and pull it but no luck

    It is just a type of punch. You can use a metal rod & hammer to lightly tap the axle through. Support the front of the bike to keep the weight off the axle, center the rod on the axle as you tap. Go easy, the axle should slide out without much force.

    I've never used a drift to get out the front axle. I just support the front wheel with my arm and pull it out. Comes out easy cheesy each time.

    Sorry bud. I forgot to answer your other part. I usually insert a screw driver in that hole and use it for leverage to twist it.
