In order to avoid being shunned as some kind of no good lowlife here are a couple of pix of my new to me 02. For those with sharp eyes yes, I'm missing the cover pieces for the grab rail, they are on order.

180 miles so far in 2 days, I'm having to teach my old bod the sport bike crouch again. I love it so far. One thing that amazed me was that you can actually see behind you with the mirrors. I think they have scrawny 5'7" 135# test riders for most bikes so when those of us who are a bit more, um, bulky try them all we see are elbows and armpits.

Packing up for a 2 day 500 mile scooter trip tomorrow. I want to try this on the VFR when my Heli-bars come in and my body gets used to the bike.

The VFR sitting position isn't bad, nor to far forward like a CBR. after you install the Heli-bars I am pretty sure you will be happy with the sitting position.

Have a safe & enjoyable scooter trip.

Beautiful back drop. Looks like you have mirror extenders on your bike. Been contemplating those myself. So far, stock mirror set up still catches some elbows for me. I'm trying out two of those mini fish-eye mirrors see if they help any.

Originally when I got my 6th gen, thought about dropping my bars down actually. But since I've been riding it more and more, I can barely tolerate getting on FZR or ZX7 since the bars feel way too low now.

Hope you have a fun (and safe) road trip!
