i can't wait to try them out. once i get my fuel pump working again that is. they look sick. i got them both shipped for $214. i previously had a shinko rear tire that only lasted maybe 5,000 miles b4 it was showing cord.

I was going to ask about these tires.

When I bought the 84, it came with "newish" Pirelli Sport Demons. I've slid 4 times on them, all at low speeds. Once going up a slight hill with a 90 degree left on top. I came back to look at the spot to see if there was sand or oil- nothing.

Once hitting a very light smattering of sand in a parking lot. Once in a roundabout which I attributed to ice and once last week in the same roundabout which was a little damp. Although at low speeds they happened when applying the throttle.

Years ago I replaced the K81's on my RD 350 with Metzelers. What a difference, I felt glued to the road. I don't get the same feeling on the Interceptor. Is it the tires?

I've gone through a few sets and loved them - on my Triumph Bonneville. They are the consensus best tire for leaning that bike over. 58 rwhp wears them out in 5000 miles, so there's that.

Will changing the aspect ratio on the rear to a 70 series affect the ride much? I've heard to stay with the original sizing, just asking because I need to replace my tires and was thinking about a slightly wider rear with the lower profile.
