I had the unfortunate luck of running over a screw last night (and with only 840 miles on the odometer!) When I took it to the honda dealer I decided I wanted something sportier than rolling stock. I went with a set of Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's on the recommendation of a couple employees and the generally excellent reputation of Pirelli. Anybody have any thoughts on this tire?
Yeah, Its a really good tire brother! Many members of the track day org I belong to run the DCIII's. Nothing but positive reviews. I have a DCIII on the front and a regular DC on the back since my 4th gen can only take a 170 rear. I love em. BZ
I agree with Bubba however I only run them at the track. They wear great and have plenty of grip. One note of caution. On the street, the tire won't get anywhere near as hot as it would on the track so it won't be as sticky in all conditions. During the summer months it'll be just fine but when the temps start to cool down (50's, 60's) they can start to slip pretty much depending on your pace. If you're looking for an excellent, all conditions tire that WILL grip in all temps and conditions, look towards the Pirelli Diablo Strada instead. They'll last much longer and provide just as much grip on the street. Not to mention they are cheaper.
