Been sick all weekend, but I mounted a Pipe Werx GP3 for a 5th Gen to my 2014 VFR last week, and finally felt good enough to get some video done this evening. I had a lot of great advice from a member here about how to create the video, but I won't name him in case I didn't do justice to the advice. Any shortcomings are in the execution not in the advice, because it was thorough and much appreciated.

    Sounds and looks good!!!

I really want to do headers and pipes on my 6th gen but it's a lot of coin for the dual exhaust.

Thanks for the comments, I still feel the video doesn't do the exhaust justice, especially when viewed on my cell phone. It sounds close on my computer or TV.

I had to source the clamp that connects link pipe to the Cat, but everything else went together perfectly.

I forgot to mention that I weighed both the oem can and the Pipe Werx can. Oem was 10lbs, and the Pipe Werx with link pipe was 5lbs. Not sure how that compares to the other cans available, but -5lbs didn't seem too bad to me.

Yea getting the true sound is a tough act, to many variables to pull it off. But that wasn't so bad. I know when I hear my bike on play back I swear thats not what it sounds like at all. Close but??? Not

So I sent the pics and video to Pipe Werx to let them know that I liked the product and that it works on the 8th gen with another clamp. They asked for some more information which I provided and I also suggested they design a high mount option or a stubby gp style to show off the rear wheel. I'll post the answer if they address my suggestions.

Pipe Werx hasn't had an 8th gen in the shop, so they don't have any current plans for a high mount or shorty gp exhaust for the VFR. Anyone near The Old Woodyard, Carr Ln, Lathom L40 4BT, United Kingdom? Lol.

That exhaust sounds and looks great! I liked the rear facing camera angle but your camera person at the end needs more training. Or was it one of those robot things that films you? But at least your camera didn't fall off like in my vid - lol

It was my wife, I was lucky to get her out there, and no, she isn't willing to practice her camera work. Lol.

Yeah, I think I'll leave her out of the loop on this one altogether. I may try to redo that second half though.
