That's a great deal - about $100 cheaper than Cyclegear's price. The only thing I'd check is the date (four digit number - week of the year it was manufactured) on the sidewall of the tire. The cynic in me would make sure they're not too old. If not, awesome find.

img_0010.jpg would this indicate that my tire was built the 27th week of 2008? My tires are Michelin power 2ct's

yep, so they're not old. Supposedly 1-2 yrs old is ok, but when they are much older than that, the rubber has aged and may not provide the the same performance it was intended to. I don't exactly know how old is old, but If I were buying a tire, I'd hesitate to buy one that is older than 2 yrs old. I'd check for another one that is newer. Unfortunately, when you order online you don't know the "born on date."

Yep, these tires are the shite! Got about 2k miles on my first set and have yet to feel any loss of traction and they seem to be wearing well. Thinking about taking advantage of this combo sale and saving them for later. Thanks for the update, spid.

yep, $229.00 for both. I know I'm not the only one who spent $375.00+ (installed) for these same tires.
I still have a few thousand left on mine but I will order a set this week, unless someone chimes in with an even better deal.

$180 plus shipping here, Derby Cycles. Product Listing - Michelin
Shipping ran me about $30 last time to the west coast, so $210 total.

Or, $197 at Motorcycle Superstore, that includes shipping I believe. Motorcycle Superstore - Motorcycle Accessories and Motorcycle Gear
