I strip cars for a living, and I rebuild the engines from cars we strip. We mostly do Sti's, EVOs, and S2000s, but sometimes do other stuff. I figured you guys might get a kick out of some of the pictures I've taken

Turbo Genesis later that day (doors came off a few minutes after this)

Good thing no one was riding in the passenger seat. The driver's side had the jaws of life taken to it, but surprisingly not a lot of blood.

EVO 8, 9, and 10 heads and cranks, Sti heads and an EVO X turbo hiding in there too. Probably about $8,000 in used parts here.

Engine test stand I built for Subaru engines. BTW Subaru's have pretty much 1 harness for the entire car, makes wiring up the motor a PAIN.

And yes, those dirty hands are mine.

With the right amount of money and blow, strippers will strip themselves, something you just cant get cars to do.

At first I thought jlude90 was swiping cars and stripping them and was so proud of it he was showing us pictures :joker:

Then I saw the salvage yard\auction info written on the windows.

You are correct though, thats a shitload of money in used parts you have there.

Some of the ladies and even a few of the guys who have a feminine side in overdrive might like to see jlude90 strip. Might this be fodder for a poll?

hah, I like how you guys focus on the word "stripping" out of all this. I like this place, and if you guys REALLY want me to strip I'll see what I can make happen but...I don't think anyone wants to see that :p

I found some more pictures too

This is how we used to strip cars, notice the Big Brake kit that goes for over $4,000 used...idiots

I couldn't figure out why this motor kept leaking during compression testing, or where from. This is behind a steel plate behind and engine mount bracket, the bracket and plate were perfect, the crack went all the way through the sleave

    gears are still good...

Found a few of these in an EVO, pretty funny.

Its always nice finding a built trans that is worth more than what you payed for the car.

All my stripper friends were from my last shop, sorry I don't have any pictures of them.

If one were to say dismantling or salvaging cars it wouldn't be nearly as much fun.. :)

Yep agreed. Kinda like surpressed laughter and being the Class Clown of your high school math class, or geology, or history, or lunch.

Hey, I bet you wana be wearing those exam gloves when your dealing with the interior of some of those wrecks, lots of bone frags and brain matter me thinks?

Kewel place to work, you must have some good pry bars
