Not sure if anyone had any interest in seeing a bit of Northwest Virginia, but here goes! Heading out towards Harper's Ferry WV, dust off the history books! Hillsboro, Virginia...I think Lee came through this exact Valley.

Cruising on near the ridgeline you come into the town of Round Hill and further into Virginia horsecountry.

Very well done. Good to see other parts of this fine country. Man, bet it took awhile to build that fence.. such an old area, if only the ground could talk, what would it say?

Absolutely beautiful man! Great scenery. I can almost feel the freedom right here. I really appreciate it since I don't quite have the bike yet. It allows me to live vicariously through you. Thanks.

Nice pics. Looks like a great start to a new season. Were those roads as smooth and twisty as they look in the photos?

I did a ride yesterday, but found the roads to still be a little salty and sandy and bumpy.

the roads were for sh!te. Dirty, salty, potholed mess...saw max # of eaten deer carcasses ever.......4. Virginia generally has good roads, but its a huge fight right now the budget...
If you like Civil War stories..my best friend's sister owns the farm on the Potomac where Lee crossed into MD. 7m north of Leesburg. They actually found a case of rifles around 10 yrs ago:yo: Cox family owns Mom's Apple Pies here, absolutely the best!
