Picked her up, now i'm an OFFICiAL VFRer!

Hi folks, i picked up the 2002 VFR with pretty much 19K miles on it from Long Island yesterday (Tuesday, Sept 7). It is exactly as the owner explained; near perfect, MINT condition! Bone stock!



I DID have a problem on my ride home... After riding a decent highway stretch, I wound up in NYC, and was stuck in stop-n-go traffic. She suddenly shut off, overheated (i'm guessing the R/R), so i pulled over and let her cool. The symptom: would not start, not turn over- and very weak light ons. The previous owner never had any issues... so he says. Was it the rectifier???

Two new situations for me: never rode a street bike before and never had a bike break down like that! Otherwise, a great ride (saddle sore in my inner thighs)! Now i know what i've been missing all along... like a bullet!
