I have always had piaas on all my bikes. Has anyone put piaas on a 5th gen vffr? I bought the oval ones so the front fender won't hit. I installed a freeway blaster horn in the stock loaction and it hits the fender under hard braking. I don't want the lites to hit the fender but at 53 , I like lots of light at night plus it helps little old ladies SEE me during the day. Thanks '99 vfr 800 cbr 929 93 zx11 cbrxx1100 bmw k1200rs
Considered a caliper or fork mount like motolights use? I'm sure something could be fabricated pretty easily. I've been thinking about some PIAA's for my vfr since I'm totally spoiled by the PIAA plasma ion high beam on the XX at night. The HID's helped a BUNCH on the vfr at night, but I just want a little extra kick. Not to mention the added day-time safety.
I had been talking to two vendors about making an under the mirror mount for the VFR, to turbocity and to electrical connection . Both were willing to do something, but weren't sure of the demand. Electrical connection already makes one for the previous generation VFR, although they don't sell it alone, only with some imitation PIAA lights. So I was looking more at turbocity.com who make a bracket for the ST1300, sold as a stand alone item. If you two and anyone else would care to contact them, they might get the idea that there is enough of us looking for such item...
