    Yeah, but pretty sure he means it in a positive way.

    Most bikes would have an average amount of wear and tear. This bike has a below average amount. Not that the bike is below average condition.

    Maybe Carnies talk in riddles.

    One thing that raises a red flag for me is the following comment...

    Normal wear and tear for a 39 year old bike. There is just something about those words that make me take a closer look.

    Sun faded / clear coat failed.

    Something looks off on that upper cowl mounting location. Kinda like the mount is broken away and it has a big washer.

    Let me just set my cigar down while I try and remove this side cover... Damn, the mount post is about ready to break off on the and inside and.... OH SHIT!
