I seem to be having problems getting a nice seal between the petcock and the Gas tank.....and seeing as how I need to remove the petcock again so I can get my tank repaired AGAIN I wanna do it right this time.

First time I used the old O-Ring seal and some Petroleum resistant Gasket sealer.

Honda cannot find a listing for a new O-Ring and I don't see one on Bike Bandit....

Anyone have any ideas for me please?

I replaced the o-ring on my petcock and haven't had any problems but I can't remember what diameter I used. I'm pretty sure it had a 2.5mm cross section though. Measure the diameter of the petcock tube and go from there. IIRC it should be around 8mm ID.

FYI the BikeBandit part number is 7189447-001. It is part #5 on the Fuel Tank schematic. Costs $3.05 per part. IMO your better off trying to source a part locally as you'll end up paying a lot less. I got my o-ring out of an assortment set I have.
