Any one bought one new of late? I'm trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger since finding rocking horse poo ain't working, figured this wouldn't be a bad way to go less the new pricing.. shesssh!! Still a well set up VFR is like a new bike.
Been hearing good things about JRI shocks, Jeff Ryan came from Penske. You might want to ping him and see if he could help you out. http://www.jrishocks.com/shop/motorcycle/triple-adjustable-remote-reservoir-sport-bike-shock/
Ooo, nice find there, It already ready sounds good by starting off with a J definitely dropping a call.
Had a great experience last year with GMD/Computrack (Peter Kates) in Massachusetts. He did a Penske 8983 double adjustable rear shock and front fork work. Really life-changing in terms of my 6th Gen manners - so much smoother and more composed. They are the most important mods I have done so far. Was about $1,900 all-in so not cheap but definitely value added.
That's what I've said along having done this sort of thing on a 4th gen makes for a whole new machine on the good side which IMO is a win win here. where can you get a new bike with the soul of a VFR and do all what it can for how much???
