Had a great experience last year with GMD/Computrack (Peter Kates) in Massachusetts. He did a Penske 8983 double adjustable rear shock and front fork work. Really life-changing in terms of my 6th Gen manners - so much smoother and more composed. They are the most important mods I have done so far. Was about $1,900 all-in so not cheap but definitely value added.

That's what I've said along having done this sort of thing on a 4th gen makes for a whole new machine on the good side which IMO is a win win here. where can you get a new bike with the soul of a VFR and do all what it can for how much??? ;)
