    PCV allow you to have two map, one for consevative and one for canyon scraper.
    Ootvs one of the member here got them on his 6th gen.

    In a word...Sun Screen.

    j/k. The short version is that the PCV is smaller and does not require a 9v battery for USB programming and like Long said, you can store two maps in the PCV and with a contact closure switch, you can toggle between the two. Or, if your wallet permits, use the 'Auto-Tune' module instead of a second map. Although both have individual cylinder tuning ability, I understand that the PCV also has per gear as well, which allows for more finite tuning. The PCV also has wider adjustment ranges and throttle position columns. Basically it's like most electronic devices, the newer module just has more features, and other than losing the on board tuning buttons, I don't think you lose anything substantial on the PCV. IMO, if the PCV will fit on your bike, get the PCV.
